Fresh Island is the biggest hip hop festival in Europe. After we designed the brand’s visual and verbal identity, the client wanted to ensure consistency in motion branding as well. So we created brand motion guidelines for video editors and motion designers who will work on Fresh Island videos. The instructions come in the form of a website that is easy to share and is rich with animated previews and downloadable assets.
Each motion element has an animated preview and a textual explanation on how and where to use it.
All motion assets are available for download, so no time is wasted on file transfers.
Motion branding is an extension of the visual identity. Brand typeface and colors are augmented by a characteristically designed movement.
Examples of existing videos serve as a final direction to video professionals to demonstrate how their end-product should look like.
