In 2022 we designed a poster series as a part of an exhibition celebrating 90 years of Massimo Vignelli’s influence. He is an iconic designer known for his innovative ideas based on modernism and simplicity, manifested through his use of geometric design. The New York subway map is one of his most famous works. Our art director, Jurica Koletic, was delighted to contribute to the exhibition, saying: “I enjoyed researching Mr. Vignelli’s works, and even though I have seen them a million times, I learned something new. He is known as the master of Helvetica, but what delights me the most is his choice of colors and contrast. The composition of his designs is also stunning. I focused on these characteristic details which make his work so distinctive. And tried to apply them to my poster interpretation.”
